A cheque for $14,000 was presented to the Arthritis Society at the 1983 March Conference.


The Arthritis Society encourages all people living with arthritis to be informed and involved in their treatment process and to be an active participant when it comes to leading as healthful a life as possible.
 
The Arthritis Society knows the importance of understanding the specific details when faced with important decisions about treatments and therapies needed to help fight the effects and challenges of arthritis. Thanks to the support of donors and volunteers, The Arthritis Society is able to offer a variety of programs and services to help people with arthritis become better informed on facing these challenges and on living well with arthritis.
