JFAO Leadership Camp (Camp Kintail, Goderich - June 11-13, 2010)
- Leadership and teamwork training weekend.
- Focusing on understanding one's self, leadership styles, working with and building a team.
- Organized by a volunteer committee of grassroots members who set goals, learn event organization, and teamwork. Open to JF members and senior 4-H members.

JFAO Ambassadors' Banquet (Rockwood - August 13, 2010)
- Annual reunion and banquet for participants in JFAO exchanges since 1945, celebration/wrap-up of the current year's visiting exchange delegates from Britain, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Thank you dinner to exchange delegate host families.
- Organized by the past year's outgoing exchange delegates and a committee of volunteers.
JFAO Cultural Exchanges
- Opportunity for up to 7 members to travel to different countries/provinces (United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Prince Edward Island) each year.
- Members learn what's it's really like to live in another country through staying with families and participating in normal family/farm activities.
- JFAO partners with similar youth organizations in each area to provide organized exchanges
- Committee of grassroots members organizes selection process, and oversees hosting of delegates visiting Ontario from the other countries.
- Travelling delegates learn more about themselves, and gain confidence through being in new & unfamiliar situations.
- All delegates are required to do regular reports & media releases, and make public presentations upon their return.
- Organizations sponsoring a Cultural Exchange will receive additional benefits, and may have the opportunity to be represented on the judge's panel selecting trip winners. As well, the organization may request that the winner make a presentation about their exchange experience upon their return.
JFAO Workshops (Multiple day-long sessions throughout the Year)
- Sessions to provide skills and knowledge to participants in dealing with media, marketing, event planning, agricultural awareness, public speaking and acting as spokespersons.
- Organized by a volunteer committee and presented by experienced professionals (sponsorship may be in-kind by providing a speaker/facilitator).

JFAO Experience Sharing Programs
- Programs awarded through a competitive bidding process to host clubs, rotating around the province
- Promotes learning opportunity for each club about what it takes to prepare a bid to host, how to organize and host a large event, and provides incentive for local clubs to go beyond the basics in order to gain a share of the returns.
- Leadership development opportunity for host committee and committee chair.
- Opportunity to learn how to develop and stick to a budget.
- Opportunity for members to travel and learn about a new area of our province.
- Opportunities for members to engage in friendly competition as both individuals and teams and develop team building/team leadership skills.
- Winter Games (University of Guelph - February 6-7, 2009) o Team & individual sports competitions including curling, hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton, bowling and others.
Autumn Profile (Peterborough - October 23, 2010)
- Team based hands-on competition of grassroots members.
- Set tasks to demonstrate skills, speed, strength or ability in livestock, crop, machinery, building, judging, homemaking, first-aid and general farm knowledge.
Sing Swing (Ancaster - November 21-22, 2010)
- Opportunity to develop confidence by competing in front of peers.
- Fun opportunity for members to learn about each other through competition.
- Team and individual competitions develop different types of leadership.
- Promotes developing skills and being good at an activity.
- Musical & cultural competitions for grassroots members.
- Music categories including vocal, instrumental individual & group.
- Dance and acting categories including waltz, jive and square dancing.
- Baking and craft categories including desserts and photography.

JFAO Trade Show Display
- Display travels to a variety of trade shows through the course of the year, including the International Plowing Match and the Canadian International Farm Show, OFA Convention as well as JFAO provincial events, fall fairs and other local events.
JFAO Board of Directors Meetings
- Local clubs host the provincial board of directors five times over the course of each year for an all-day meeting, rotating around the province.
- Opportunity for club representatives to meet, network, and make decisions for the benefit of the organization as a whole.
- Opportunity for local clubs to gain skills organizing a smaller event, providing venue, lodging, meals, and evening networking activities.
General Sponsorship
- Funding will be directed towards programs and opportunities as most needed.
