EBI, in co-operation with Dairy Farmers of Ontario, Holstein Ontario, Ayrshire Ontario and Jersey Ontario, will be hosting the 6th annual “Friends of 4-H Fundraiser” BBQ Dinner, Dance and Auction on Saturday, July 7th, 2007, at the Spencerville Arena, Spencerville, Ontario. Previous events held across Ontario have raised over $90,000 for the Ontario 4-H Program.

4-H Ontario, as the oldest youth development program in Ontario, positively affects the lives of over 8,000 members and volunteers. Through leadership and lifeskills development of youth and volunteers, 4-H empowers healthy communities.

This year’s event, a first for Eastern Ontario 4-H supporters, will be in conjunction with EBI’s 28th 4-H Showcase Dairy and Beef Shows that will be hosted the following day.

In celebration of EBI’s 60th anniversary this year, our two shows will be especially strong as we change our format to encourage the very best to compete for tremendous prizes! This will be a weekend that you will not want to miss as we support agriculture and the values and successes of 4-H together. 100% of the silent and live auction proceeds will go to the support of 4-H Ontario.

Update* Tickets for the Fundraiser are $40 each ($20 dance only).  If you buy more than 2 tickets at a time, the 3rd ticket and greater will be only $20 each and all children under 12 get in free (when accompanied by an adult)!!!
