Simon has been a JF member for four years, formerly with the Dundas club and now Lanark. He grew up on a dairy farm where his father and uncle milked 50 head of Ayrshire cattle. Simon currently runs his own masonry company which specializes in the restoration and rehabilitation of heritage buildings. He graduated from Algonquin College where he took Heritage and Traditional Masonry Techniques, and has been working in the trade for eight years.
When Simon’s not working, he enjoys snowboarding, kiteboarding, and white water kayaking. He also loves taking part in different JF events – it’s not very often that he misses Winter Games, March Conference, or Sing Swing (where he’s the current Individual Dance champ!). Simon says he’s looking forward to representing JF as the 2008 delegate to Switzerland. | | Krista McAvoy 2008 Delegate to Ireland Age: 21 Club: Durham West E-mail on Exchange:
