Wentworth JF Members At JFAO's Sing Swing Cultural Talent competition in November 2007.

First established in 1919, Wentworth JF reformed in 2007 after an absence of several years. Wentworth JF had many successes in its first year as a revived club, with attendance at all provincial events and strong performances at Autumn Profile, Sing Swing, and Winter Games - including becoming provincial tug-of-war champions. Wentworth members also enjoy hosting the international delegates.

Wentworth JF has adopted a 3 km stretch of Hwy. 52 near Copetown as a community betterment project. The club also runs an annual battery recycling drive on the Saturday before Earth Day and supported the food bank with a trick-or-canning drive for Halloween. During the holidays, members also got together to donate to Canadian Blood Services.

Each year the Joe Fletcher Memorial Rural Citizen of the Year award is presented at the annual banquet with the support of the three county fair boards in honour of a former Wentworth member who died from a farm accident during his presidency in 1947.

Wentworth JF Social activities include potlucks & bbqs, a bowling night, movie nights, and a learn to square dance night with Hamilton-Wentworth 4-H.  This year Wentworth JF is hosting Sing Swing.

Current members range in age from 16 to 30. New members are welcome at any time.
