Durham West Junior Farmers were at the Uxbridge TSC Store to collect donations for Scan Away Days.

Durham West JF is running their annual 'Truck Show and Shine' on June 16th at the corner of Hwy 12 and Concession 14 in Saintfield.  Competitions will be held for pick ups, transports and classics.  Exhibitors and general public are welcome to attend and to stay for the pig roast.  Tickets are being sold for $10 each.  Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Durham West completed a several community betterment projects in the past. The first project that Durham West completed was a food drive for their local food bank. The next project the club held was to educate students on agriculture. Through the Farms Connections Board, members volunteered to speak at local public schools. Lastly, members of the Durham West club helped to raise funds for their county’s 4-H Exchange group.
